Hi ~ I'm Terrence!
An 4th year Interaction Design student at Emily Carr University. I design simple, kind, and useful experiences that help people and communities. My work blends UX/UI, service design, and research to turn ideas into products that actually support everyday life.
What I care about...
  • People First: usability, clarity, and dignity in every touchpoint.
  • Impact: design that supports learning, access, and community care.
  • Simplicity: fewer steps, more meaning.

My Approach to Design
I’ve always been the person who watches how people interact with their world: how they move, pause, connect, hesitate, laugh, or drift into their own thoughts. These tiny human details are what inspire my design work every day.

My Roots & Passion
I grew up in Macau, a place full of languages, cultures, and warm people. Now based in Vancouver, I bring that multicultural curiosity with me everywhere, in the way I observe, collaborate, and design for communities.
Whether I’m sketching ideas, writing poems, or capturing soft evening light with my camera, my goal is always the same:

Journey to Interaction Design
Before design, I was someone who simply loved observing people and expressing myself through photos and writing. When I discovered Interaction Design, everything suddenly clicked.
Now in my fourth year at Emily Carr University, I’ve grown into a designer who builds with intention and emotion, crafting experiences for students, seniors, multicultural communities, and more.
I am also working as the external project manger of FLUI Desgin Jam/ Hackathon 2026. living in a community that love desgin. I have always enjoyed seeing all the work form different desginers from different places. It is an amazing motivation for me to continue loveing desgin!
