What is VAYU's Goals?
The goal of VAYU was to create an onboarding experience that not only guides users effectively, but also reinforces confidence, builds trust, and encourages continued engagement from the very first interaction.

The Very First Steps
Interviewing the VAYU team was my first step in the process. I chose to start here to better understand the values and brand identity that VAYU aims to communicate, so I could ensure the redesign aligns closely with their vision and priorities.

After going through the existing onboarding experience as a first-time user, I quickly identified several areas where the flow could be improved:
1
Lack of Clear Value Communication Early On
2
Overwhelming and Unclear Selection Screens
3
Weak Emotional Engagement During Onboarding

User Research Findings
In addition, I conducted four user research sessions, combining short interviews with guided walkthroughs of the onboarding flow and home screen. These sessions were structured as semi-guided explorations, allowing participants to interact with the app while sharing their thoughts in real time.
From these sessions, I noticed that all four participants shared similar reactions—many of which aligned with my own initial experience using the app. These recurring insights included:
Users had difficulty understanding how the core mechanic works
Introduction screens use confusing visuals with very small graphic elements.
Selection screens feel overwhelming.
The notification preference screen caused confusion due to unclear wording

Wireframe Sketches

These sketches were created using existing assets from the design system. For additional screens, I developed low-fidelity sketches without color to focus purely on structure and flow. This approach allowed me to quickly explore different ideas, iterate on layout and hierarchy, and validate the overall user journey before moving into higher-fidelity design.

Redesign on Onboarding
The steps that we want user to go throught are:
By simplifying the onboarding experience and focusing on user benefits, we believe users will be able to understand VAYU’s value more quickly and feel more confident continuing into the app.
Micro Session
Micro session is imported brings user straingt to the main fuction. It provide user a relistic breathing excersie that help them to reset they nervouse system thought breathing with visual and expected viboration.
Sign Up & Welcome
Sign Up and Welcome session is clean and simple, allowing user to sigh up qucikly as well as to know their user gains with 2 simple screens.
Customize
The onboarding process also offers a fuctions that allow users to customize their won practice. This allow them to choose which part they would like to focus on and VAYU is expected to push the ralative fuctions.
Consent & Get started
Lastly, we would ask user to consent to connect to the health app, as well as notification and apple watch to have the best experience in VAYU.

Design System
Starting Weeek 3, I also started making a desgin system thourght our the project timeline, I was able to create a desgin system that contains all the color font size, components that were updated.
